Mercina (1851-1940) was a Slovenian musician, teacher and bell ringer. In 1926, he published the book Slvenski Pritrkovavec, on the subject of bell ringing. This volume includes a facsimile of the original publication, an Italian translation of the publication by Laura Sgubin, and transcriptions of Mercina's music for bells by Montanari and Alessio Marega.
