Vocal score by Paul Horn. A cantata in eight movements, for the 11th Sunday after Trinity. With a foreword in German and English. Appendix. Bach originally composed this work in Weimar, and resurrected it for performance in Leipzig in 1723. This piano reduction can be used for all versions of the cantata, as the soprano part is unchanged throughout. This volume includes singing texts in the original German, and in English translations by Henry S. Drinker (revised by Robert Scandrett).
