The Paris version of this opera was reconstructed by Ludwig Finscher, and first published by Bärenretier in 1966. The libretto, by Pierre-Louis Moline, appears in the score in the original French and in a German translation by Hans Swarowsky. This edition is revised and newly set, and includes a slightly modernized version of the German translation of the libretto.
