Two Miniatures : For Violin and Piano (1993).

Dedicated to David Abel and Julie Steinberg, these pieces are arrangements of Mumford's Two Songs for Mezzo-soprano and Piano (1983-85). They were premiered at Mills College in October 1994. The music is slow and melodic, while rhythmically complex. Duration ca. 6 minutes.
