In one movement. With program, performance and biographical notes. Commissioned by Henry Cox and Michael D. Kunkel. Dedicated to Pieces of Eight (Ben Larsen and Martha Cargo). The title translates to River. Of advanced difficulty. Originally composed for flute and cello. This version was premiered by Benjamin Smolen (flute) and Meredith Crawford (viola) in Pasadena CA, April 2019. This is the short version by the composer, which supersedes her original, longer version. Duration: approximately 5 minutes, but can vary in length by 2-3 minutes.
