With a preface in Swedish and English. Critical notes. Non-singing English translation of the libretto. Facsimile plates. Tubin composed this opera on a libretto by Jaan Kross, which was itself based on a previously unused libretto by Aino Kallas. Tubin completed the music in 1971, but the opera did not debut until 1979. This edition is based on the original full score.
